Hello!

I viewed my space today and ralised that the last time I had blogged in it was in June. I have already noticed that some cracks have appered on the page, as well as spider webs, probably out of age, or maybe because it is Hallowe'en, but either way, the place i dilapdated and severely underrepresented.

Even so, I have little to say, because there is too much to mention: this blog will eschew all interesting aspects of my social life, as there have been indeterminate quantities of those since June 12th. Instead I will focus on the negative aspects of life, as there are less in abundance, but more worrying.

Firstly, I am studying like mad for Maths, as the GCSE is in about 5 days and I still feel that I have postponed revision until too late and that  grade would not gain itself, witout my commitment.

Either way, one of the most fascinating entretainment hits of this year, teh Borat film i opeing this Friday! Chen qui! I love scheschx!!

 

So I bid you all adieau and hereby declare my absense from this blog for the next few months could be anticipated.

Jeckschmishz! And goodbye, until after the GCSE Maths exam has passed!

I am aware that i have not written a single line in this blog for two months. However I managed to remain oblivious to the fact, until today.

 

A lot has happened since 11th April, however i cannot go through all of it. I even got through 6/6/06 alright.

Dont worry! THE TITLE LIES! OF COURSE I WILL TALK ABOUT RUSSIA AND THE USSR YET AGAIN!

nOT REALLY.

Moving swiftly from this boring subject. Last week, I attended a meeting with the Bulgarian President in the Bulgarian Embassy and was very impressed to get the chance to talk to him and see him in person etc etc. This was all very fun and interesting.

I also met and saw some interesting (and not-so interesting) people there.

 

The rest of the week was rich in normal Easter holiday type experiences- going out etc etc.

I have tooo much coursework to get on with though! It will turn out to be 10 000 words-a-piece at the end. Oh well, I feel sorry for the teachers, who will have to compromise their lovely (and uneventful  :D ) evenings marking it.

Oh well, shouldn't have chosen to be teachers.

 

I feel tempted to now shut up. I would like to draw your valuable attention to B. Yerli's lovely blog, which you always know how to find.

 

P.S. I'm reading a brilliant ook. It's called A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian. (for the illeterate Southern Soviets (you know who you are cough cough) the book is actually in English and is quite fun/ny.

SO. WE HAVE UNTIL 19TH april of free unconsumed by the state's education authorities time. This means we can get drunk every day and every night and every minute and second.

 

 

Vodka and Sex don't mix (yeah, right) but we want you to belive this kids (so in reverse psychology, you will go and screw like Soviet nuclear-poisoned jackrabbits and therefore raise the Soviet population. As chairman Mao (hail Mao) once randomly said ''strength of our empire is in numbers- make more babies)

Now. Drink as much as you can and buy from ME only. Thus we can stimulate the SOviet economy for as long as possible. And after that- who cares.

I will this year hold the speech on the USSR, as comrade Stalin has recently passed away. (I still cannot take it!!!!!!!!!)

People are already killing themselves over the loss of their vatter, sorry, i meant  father. (Wrong place to spread this sorta ideology)

Hello

I am fully aware that I have not written a signle word here in slightly over two weeks (or was it two years?). Unfortunately, nothing has changed that much anyway. Apart from teh glorious fact that there is only more week of school left. And we have end of term break. How cunning.

 

There are no new revoltions in Russia to take a note of. It seems too quiet.

Also, I started reading Memoirs of a Geisha

A brilliant, dazzling, mesmerising book. It's a reflection of a culture so far from the Western that every page is a beauty in itself. I recommend it to anyone, who posseses slighly refined rading interests :P:P:P
